of the happenings in our home this very busy week pre-christmas! it is tradition that the kiddos assemble a gingerbread house every year, though a majority of the candy and frosting are ingested. hey...it's just a gingerbread house, right? hampton repeatedly swiped frosting from the snowy roof that conveniently landed on "her" side of the table. coleman decided that the defective candy may as well be eaten, rather that thrown away! i cannot say that i disagree! what a fun afternoon! the house proudly stands on display. big brother austin ate a few pieces that fell off the roof, and i blamed it on the dog. it is just better that way, sometimes!
i am the proud mother of three beautiful gifts from heaven (austin 12, coleman 7, and hampton 3). i am happy to be a "stay at home" mom, though i rarely stay at home!
thanks to my wonderful husband, garry (who by the way is "super dad") and his hard work within the ethanol industry, i am gradually, & proudly, trying to "go green!"
since i am so fortunate to have this extraordinary opportunity to help raise our children, i am happy to do whatever i can to make this world even more beautiful for them! i have been blessed beyond measure!
