we awakened this morning to the glorious rays of the sun amidst a beautiful blue sky! after venturing to church, and then lunch...we chose to enjoy the day (no, not at the pool), but rather, in our garage. after cleaning it out (i feel like we just did it), and putting it all back together, we were then able to enjoy some family time! the boys discovered new (or shall i say, old) treasures to enjoy, including a remote control boat for the lake behind our house. after the battery was worn out, coleman and hampton enjoyed frolicking in the front yard with a spraying beach ball. dodger even joined in the fun (as the two were planning their next special run)! although austin was supposed to be participating in the cleaning, we repeatedly found him shooting baskets...seems like it never ends! as a family, we finally sat together again for yummy steaks on the grill, baked potatoes, and various seasonal veggies! yummy day, yummy night! the kids are all tucked in, and austin invited coleman to "spend the night in his room" to talk football! too cute!
i try my best to spend "quality" alone time with each of my three children, although it is becoming more and more difficult as they grow older! tonight was coleman's night...he chose to eat at "abuelo's," a mexican restaurant. we feasted on chips and queso, enchiladas, and sopapillas! yum yum!! since dad was out of town on business, austin was lucky enough to score a "date night" with hampton...frozen pizza was on hand! coleman is my happy-go-lucky, pleaser...always striving to make everyone happy! he is as sweet as sugar...and i cannot help but kiss on his precious dimples! i am such a lucky mom! thanks for a fun "date," coleman! i love you to pieces!
